Throughout the week, we will enjoy a mix of curated group moments and free time to relax, explore, and enjoy everything the resort has to offer.

Travel Dates and Flexibility

  • The hosted 2027 Cooltapes Expedition experience and group activities will take place from April 11 through April 16.
  • Room availability for the Cooltapes Expedition is secured within the group block from April 8 through April 19.
  • Guests are welcome to arrive earlier or extend their stay beyond the hosted expedition dates within the room block window, subject to availability and applicable rates. Additional nights will be booked separately.

To secure your place in the Cooltapes Expedition, a non-refundable Cooltapes Expedition Registration Fee of $195 per person is required.

This registration fee supports hosted group events, activities, exclusive experiences, planning, and inaugural amenities. The registration fee is separate from your hotel reservation and will not be applied toward your room balance.

Hotel room charges will be billed directly by Hyatt Ziva Cancun to the card on file approximately 30 days prior to arrival, as the resort does not accept partial payments. Only one credit card may be placed on file with the resort per room reservation

What dates does the expedition take place?

The hosted Cooltapes Expedition experience and group activities will take place April 11 through April 16, 2027.

Room availability for the group is secured within the room block from April 8 through April 19, 2027, allowing guests to arrive early or extend their stay if desired.

Can I arrive early or stay longer?

Yes. Guests are welcome to arrive before April 11 or stay beyond April 16 within the room block dates of April 8 through April 19, subject to availability and applicable rates. Additional nights will be booked separately.

What does the $195 registration fee cover?

The $195 non-refundable Cooltapes Expedition Registration Fee secures your place in the travel group, and supports hosted group events, activities, exclusive experiences, inaugural amenities, planning, and on-site coordination.

This fee is separate from your hotel reservation and is not applied toward the room balance.

Is the registration fee refundable?

No. The registration fee is non-refundable and confirms your participation in the Cooltapes Expedition.

Are children welcome on the Cooltapes Expedition?

Yes. Hyatt Ziva Cancun is a family-friendly, all-inclusive resort, and children are welcome to attend the Cooltapes Expedition. Please note that while the resort offers activities for all ages, some hosted group events and excursions may be designed primarily for adults. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times.

Is there a registration fee for children?

The Cooltapes Expedition registration fee applies to adults only.Children under the age of 12 may attend without a registration fee when sharing a room with a registered adult.Children’s resort pricing, age classifications, and occupancy limits are determined by Hyatt Ziva Cancun and will be reflected at the time of room booking.Please note that while children are welcome, some hosted group events or experiences may be designed primarily for adults.

How and when do I book my hotel room?
After completing your registration, you will receive an email within one business day with a private booking link to reserve your room within the group block at Hyatt Ziva Cancun.
When will my card be charged for the hotel?

Hyatt Ziva Cancun will charge the credit card on file approximately 30 days prior to arrival, in accordance with resort policy.

Can I make partial payments for the hotel?

No. The resort does not accept partial payments. The full hotel balance will be charged at once by Hyatt Ziva Cancun.

How many cards can be used per room?

If you are sharing a room, you are welcome to split costs privately among everyone in the room. However, only one credit card may be placed on file with the resort per room reservation, and that card will be charged in full by Hyatt Ziva Cancun.

What room types are available?

Multiple room categories are available, including Resort View and Ocean View options. Final availability is subject to the group block at the time of booking.

Can I bring family or friends?

Yes. The Cooltapes Expedition is open to close friends and family. Each guest must complete registration and book their room within the group block.

Is airfare included?

No. Airfare is not included. Guests are responsible for arranging their own flights.

  • Individual Registration Requirement
    Each guest must complete a separate registration and submit the registration fee to participate in the Cooltapes Expedition, regardless of shared accommodations.

  • Shared Room Payment Responsibility
    Guests sharing a room are responsible for coordinating payments among themselves. Cooltapes Media LLC is not responsible for payment arrangements or reimbursement between roommates.

    Group events, activities, and experiences are planned as part of the Cooltapes Expedition and are subject to availability, minimum participation, and resort confirmation. Event details and schedules may be adjusted as planning is finalized.
